I found myself needing to do a little chopping for a campfire last night, but all I had w/me was my SJTAC. The only wood available was quite hard as well. I was really wishing I had a bigger blade as it was really difficult w/the SJ (I also must admit that my knife was pretty dull.) My BM-E would have made very quick work of those sticks...
It was an insightful incident nonetheless. I didn't think I'd need to chop, but did. I think even more strongly now that If you only take one knife with you, take a big one!
