Best slicer

In my limited stable of knives the Para2 is hands down the winner. Have a Chaparral on the way (Christmas) will see if its ultra thin 2mm blade unseats the king Para2! :) It's got a long way to go to do so.

I was/am AMAZED at the cutting/slicing power of the Spyderco Resilience, an awesome knife at an unbelievable price, I am just sad I only recently discovered it!!!

I recently picked up the little brother Tenacious and that also is an excellent cutter, as mentioned above, it's how thick behind the edge and Spyderco folks really have this one down nice and thin, if you guys/gals haven't given one of these a try, my preference is the larger one, just seems to open a lot easier due to the weight of the blade helping to carry it out of the handle, but either one is a winner in my book...

Are there any convex ground spydies?
And as fat as slicers go the southfork s90v fixed blade holds its own.

I would go with the Military. The Para2 is good but the blade is too short.

My SB Caly 3.5 is a pretty good slicer...

Ive used my Resilience for food prep and it was great. I sliced Ahi for some great sashimi and poke. I liked that I had over 4 inches of slice as I ran it through the fish. Great with the onions as well.

I've yet to try my Manix 2 XL, but I don't doubt it'll be great.

Calypso Jr Laminated ZDP-189 / 420J2 blade thickness .125" (3 mm) still #1 in my mind
When I purchased this knife I had never used a knife that sliced like a hot knife through butter and held an edge so well.Needless to say Spyderco knives now fill up my safe. The Caly Jr is still in the collection, but I mostly collect and carry Golden sprints now.

I can't decide between the stretch (both VG-10 and ZDP189) and Caly 3.5...
If i had to pick one, then it'll be the Stretch ZDP 189

My Gayle Bradley Air, Chokwe, and Squeak are all wicked slicers.
The Chaparral is also a wicked slicer.

The Para 2 is a great slicer, but not the best to me.
