Best Small Fixed Blade Survival knife

TOPS Brothers of Bushcraft is a great choice. 4.5" blade, 3/16 thickness, and all around outdoor goodness for around 109.95 at most online retailers.

I don't think most saw where you said "100$" ceiling, A Survive GSO, awesome knife but better have 3 to 4 hundred or so. I just got in my new Real Steel Bushcraft knife today, fit and finish is awesome, 4" 440c true scandi grind blade, 8.5" overall, 3.5mm full tang, Micarta lined scales, kidex sheath, fit and finish on this knife is up there with a nicely made custom knife. Love this thing, so much in fact that I have a second one on the way, gonna be sporting this thing everyday. Best part is it can be had around the 70 $ range. (Please excuse the crappy cell pic, much nicer in person)

The ESEE 3 gets my vote. It's a great knife and the price is easy on the wallet.

Great knives mentioned, and to answer the question about thickness, I like 1/8 for a small knife as described and needed by the OP. Maybe 5/32 if you need thicker, but 3/16 is pushing the limit for what I think he would use it for, my opinion only. Remember, small knife, light camp chores, hiking for a few days. I see where a Mora and a SA or a three blade stockman would work, best thing is to see how you like 1/8 blade. Let us know what you decide and pics of whatever you go with is muchly appreciated. :D

Update:

I purchased the BK11 from a fellow forum member. This particular BK11 has custom wood scales with yellow liners- made by Tom Milne (tommythewho)

I love it and definitely consider this one of my best purchases. Just a little little light work so far and it has performed like a champ. I intend to put it through the paces... more pics to come.

Also, I have my eyes on a Mini Eagle by Tops. It's a completely different shape/profile, they should make a good pair giving me different options.

Thanks for everyone's input/suggestions, I really appreciate it.

Cheers,
Danny
