Don't care for the Liner Locks at all ~~ but I do carry the Delica ZDP189 and I carry the small Buck 525 in a Custom Sheath made for my Belt.* Lost the 100th Anniversary Knife I had for a few years and missed it so I bought this one and had a Sheath made by my Sheath Maker. Great little set-up.** (only knife I ever lost) wahhhhhhh

Best is tough to choose. Variety is the spice. These are the ones I have and blade length is anywhere from 1.875" to 2.56". I've included the blade lengths in parentheses:

  • Boker Plus Nano frame lock - various colors (1.875")
  • Boker Plus CLB Subcom (1.88")
  • Boker Albatros (2.5")
  • Boker Pipsqueak Blackwood (2.5")
  • Spyderco Techno (2.55")
  • Spyderco Leafstorm (2.44")
  • Spyderco Air Bradley (2.56")
  • Three Sisters Forge CCT (1.875")
  • Protech Runt - CA legal auto (1.94")
  • Kershaw D.W.O. - various colors (2.375")

I went to smaller knives as I got 'older'. I find for the utility of cutting, small slip jots work well. The ones in the photo have done well in constant edc in many conditions. If I feel the need for protection, I just pick one of the blackthorn sticks from the umbrella stand as I go out the door.

When I have to go to the NYC office, I choose one from these, from top to bottom:

SRM 702
Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air
Fallkniven U2
Spyderco Cat
SRM H03
