Interstingly, these 3 were the ones that I was going to suggest as well - along with the Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite. All are great knives. Not a big fan of Cold Steel, but the Tuff Lites make very nice whittling knives and are quite comfortable in the hand.

My orange PT with the new pivot from GP Knives is the smoothest by far of the four Striders I've owned.

Another small favorite: a Spyderco Pingo modified by Cuscadi with sculpted orange G10 scales and thumb studs!
