best sodbuster type knife?

I would also add on some praise for the Queen Country Cousin, with one caveat, you may need to re-profile the blade on arrival, mine came quite obtuse, but after I put a new thinner ends on it, it held up great.

it is to be delivered today so i will have to look it over and see if mine is the same way.

thanks

nope went with black. my Case i lost 17 yrs ago was black, so i decided this one would be also.
if it makes ya feel better ive already decided my next soddie (Case) will be yellow;)

while i wouldnt consider it too obtuse, it did need touched up to make it hair popping sharp.
it was no suprise the D2 required a bit lengthier time on the stones compared to some of my other knives to get it where i wanted it, but it did sharpen right up. after i was done, i gave it the test, and i now have a 2" by 3" bald spot in my left calf, which got a chuckle out of my youngest daughter lol. if i can shave a spot like that on MY leg with one pass, its SHARP ;)

thanks to the sharpshooter sheath i ordered last week, my QC it is now gonna be a part of my edc. these two in the back pocket with my alox farmer in my front.
with those three on ya at all times, what more could a guy need?

i got my BB sodbuster yesterday, and it is everything i hoped it would be. fit and finish is excellent, snaps open and closes tight, and sharp enough to shave with.
gonna be real hard to just display it and not drop it in my pocket once in awhile. luckily i bought that Country Cousin soddie last week as well LOL

heres a couple pics....

no that aint a flaw in the grind, im just a bad photographer working with a junk camera...trying to get the lighting right to show the image on the blade clearly was kinda tricky.
