Best Spyderco for EDC?

I think it's difficult to do better than the Native 5. So many have mentioned the Delica, that I ordered one of the stainless steel handle ones from Knifeworks.

I own a Delica 4 FFG and a Sage 1. Both are excellent EDC knives. You really can't go wrong with either. My Delica kicked my ZTs and Benchmades out of the rotation if that means anything. Just got the Sage 1, and so far I am loving it as well.

I would probably skip the metal scales, IMO. The Delica is my favorite that I own.

Get yourself a Paramilitary 2 and some Casey Lynch Titanium scales for it and you will be all set!

I really like the etched and artwork pieces like the Dragonfly, Cricket etc. However generally speaking SS scales are inferior in terms of weight, traction, and ability to disassemble the knife.

You really should edit your original post and specify steel in the title.

You really can't go wrong with the Delica or the Endura. Although I love the Police. All three are 4" and less.

I second the Native with stainless slabs

Lots of people in this thread seemed to only read the title...

Anyway, I'd suggest the stainless Dragonfly or Delica.

I would have told you that you can't go wrong with a Manix 2. Amazing edc.
BUT, since you mentioned stainless -- I'd have to go with a Delica.

I would have to say Southard. I know it's a bit pricey but it's perfect for me. I own a PM2 but prefer a hollow grind, beefy blade of the Southard. It's my go to knife and I'm not afraid to use it. The hollow grind is actually better for food prep then FFG. It's separate slices when they stick with FFG. I carry mostly Southard and Domino and love them both.

Southard, or a Manix II for me. Both excellent for EDC. The Southard is a little jewel with more blade than it should have.
