best stabby and thick bladed knife.

Maybe it's a different sort of wall than what most are thinking... ;)

Looks like you want an axe for that sort of wall. :D

When I think of something that qualifies as "stabby," but also has a solid blade thickness, the ZT 0452 comes to mind. Great blade profile, narrow and rather slicey, yet thick bladestock of S-35VN, and great looks to boot!

Got my first busse today. I stabbed a few trees and a cured log. It's a ffg, so Im not sure why you would be worried about snapping your tip? 😉

Either go ridiculous pry bar knife that can handle anything (my latest arrival) or just carry a mini pry bar.

For the best of both I'd go with an Emerson Super CQC-7 or HD- 7.

Second would probably be a Grayman folder.

Get you a Hinder spanto tip and have at it. The walls should tremble in your presence.

If I had to pick a folding knife in my collection to stab into a wall...it would probably be my Spyderco Vallotton..or BM Adamas.

I'd prefer one of these myself for a wall like that.

What is the best knife that has a thick tip and that I wouldn't be afraid to stab into a wall. All of my knives (except my benchmade mini grip) have a ffg blade and Im quite scared to stab or pry because of how thin they are. Any recommendations welcome. Thanks!

I am afraid, all tips get blunt by stabbing knife into wall regardless of steel....some less, some more but every and each tip of the blade will not stay the same after you do this :) and what is it, that lead you to stabbing walls? Or simply you just looking for knife with highest edge retention possible, that is out there?

Highest tip retention.
Could be the same as edge retention. I just don't know.
If the tip isn't really sharp/edgy so to speak it might be fine but if it bends or breaks/chips it's useless. Thus I think tip retention could be a different thing from what we would classify as edge retention. Is it?

For me tip retention is definitely a different thing than edge retention. Open to interpretation, and the OP did not specify, but I want a tip that won't break when it is stabbed into wood fence posts, for example, when I'm drilling out holes to start a lag screw or hard ice if I need to break ice on water buckets or start an ice screw on a frozen lake. You can carry specialized tools for both chores, but sometimes you use what you have on you, and I always have a knife on me. Anyway, we can all imagine why we would or why we would not use a knife blade for these jobs. And that is leaving aside the possible SD applications.
