Best store bought lube (for knives)

I'm gonna try the trumpet valve oil, I got a bottle laying around from when my kid played trumpet in college marching band.

Been using Tri-Flow for years and just purchased a bottle of M-pro 7 which was mentioned by Cereal_Killer. Took my ZT 0566 apart cleaned and tried the M-pro 7. It does seem to open faster. Will see how it lasts. I can also try it on my pistols. First impressions it seem to be some good stuff for knives.

I started using Royal Purple synthetic gun oil on my knives recently, my dad gets it free from work. It has worked pretty well so far, although I really don't have the experience with many other lubes to rate it against the other ones mentioned. Not sure if anyone else has used it, maybe they could give a better comparison.

I've been using kroil oil on all my hand tools lately and I like the results. Gonna try it on my knives tomorrow.

After reading this thread it inspired me to go hunt for some nicer oils. Bought 4 different kinds at my local gun shop, picked up a small bottle of clp break free, slip 2000, mil-comm (mp2500 i think) synthetic gun oil with the nra endorsement, and the mil-comm extreme performance synthetic grease. After trying out all of them if come to favor both the synthetic oil and grease. Cleaned out the domino and tried the grease and i wont go to oil for my bearing knives, although i have the synthetic oil in my 801 and it is smooth as butter but i will switch to grease next time i take it apart. For all my washer pivots i noticed a difference (improvement) when using the synthetic oil from clp or hoppes. Still cannot get my lionspy to the smoothness id like but oh well

Bottom line i would recommend the mil-comm synthetic products for sure. Says they don't collect sand and grit as much but only time will tell . Some very good info in this thread!
