Best survival Busse Knife

In the boonies, for making shelters, traps, rafts, chopping wood, at a decent weight on the belt... the FSH

I don't know which one on your list would be the best. I have been looking at a BWM for a survival knife however.

I've handled a lot of Busse's over the past nine years, and the SH-E is still my favorite. I won't ever sell this knife. To me it has the best ergonomics of any Busse for a survival/camp knife.

+1

Although I prefer the ZTSH grind for its additional lightness.

DSSF! I ain't gonna Hump with 6 Lbs of steel!

Who are you kidding? As if you would actually use one of your Busses....

I'm another one for the NMSFNO especially with a satin zero edge convex.

However, lately the Basic 11 has been my go to for a "survival" scenario knife. Cheaper, lighter, longer and a better chopper than the NMSFNO.

tool and butt are both good words to use when that pic comes up:D

NMSFNO,

I love it, but like foxyrick, I'm not crazy about the handle, it would be awesome with a fusion handle.

At which point you would have a FSH.

Contrarion position here; I prefer the Fusion handle to the SF handle, so I sold my two NMSFNO.

If the handle on the MoFo fits your hand, then that would be the pick.

It's funny how this thread got resurrected given that the OP has now sold knives 1-3. I guess #4 was (is) the best knife in his estimation.
