Perhaps you can explain what "Hairy sharp" means?:D

but ithink a better knife would be the spiderco civilian i think thats what its called it has a S shape blade and is serreted nice knife:D

My favorites would include the benchmade 806, the spyderco chinook2 or 3, and the emerson cqc-12. All have super locks, secure grips, and are well designed for a weapon role. The civilian and emerson karambit are nice too, but can be considered limited in their abilities. Also, a full sized microtech socom would be up there with the first three. If you have more to spend a strider smf would do it too.

1. spyderco military
2. al mar sere2000
3. crkt m16 1*

1. the military is my alltime favorite folder. even though i break the fragile tip every now and then, i can't think of any knife that comes even close to its greatness. a 4" modified clippoint, 14mm opening hole, liner-lock, g10 handle, lightweight......doesn't get any better for me, really. i think i bought about 3 in the past 5 years, it's that good.

2. the amk is built like a tank, fabrication quality is reminiscent of a $600 custom folder, very well assembled linerlock and ball-bearing. bit on the heavy side though to carry, and tip-up only, and thumb-studs are not my thing

3. the crkt is relatively cheap, but it's tough and it works. not a fan of the slippery handles though and the flipper-feature and carson-locker or whatever it's all called makes the knife unnecessarily complicated. if you can find a faultless model in a shop, then get it, it costs next to nothing.
