Best Value Folders: $20 and under

Anyone know of the Kershaw Volt 2 SS? I can get this for $20. Any thoughts on this knife?
 
For 20$? A Sanrenmu, Ganzo, Bee or Enlan. All made in China, decent quality and some (more or less) original designs.
 
Victorinox Tinker or Spartan (sometimes the Super Tinker and Climber can drop to under $20)
Kershaw Chill, Volt II (or really any of their imported knives - Kershaw's import line-up has variety of offerings around that price point)
Ka-Bar Dozier Folding Hunter
Opinel No. 7-9
Case Sodbuster
If you're okay with the Chinese manufacturers, most of what Sanrenmu and Enlan offer are also under $20.

You can't go wrong with a SRM 763 in aluminum.
It is far and away my favorite EDC.
One handed opening and a bottle opener built in.
Disappears nicely in a pocket.
The 2.5" blade is built sturdy for when you need to grunt a little (not Opinel/SAK thin) and the lock is rock-solid.
If you need something bigger, get the Enlan.
I am not a big fan of liner or frame locks, so the choices for one-handed openers get kind of limited.

It invites a bit of modding to loosen up the blade action and the spring on the lock, but is fine without mods once the pivot and lock break in.

For $13 it is an absolute steal for an original design from a quality manufacturer.
 
I just got a kershaw cryo for 20 . I can't wait to see if its worth the 20 lol .

If playing by the strict rules, the CRKT Drifter and Chill and San Renmu Small Sebenza Tribute are all excellent. Having all three my favorite is the Drifter which I still reach for regularly over "better" knives in my utility drawer. (A little bit of lithium grease on the washers go along way!)

favorite knife I have owned for under $20. I gave it to a friend as a gift but have been thinking of grabbing another one.
