Best websites to get new knives

I usually use either

Yourcornerstore.com http://yourcornerstore.com/

or for Benchmades, Knifeworks (they seem to use a lot of coupons to get their prices on BMs really low): http://www.knifeworks.com/

Lately I have been going to a knife store that is near my associated military hospital (get lots of appointments there due to a knee injury), they give me a nice 10% military discount on already decent prices. Not too mention I get to handle the knives and don't have to pay shipping. Western Knife and Utility in Fairfield CA, http://www.rjbuckknives.com/index.php

Welcome to the forum!

There is a wealth of excellent dealers here.

Start here, and then you can filter it down a little more to remove individual sellers by going here. And the most recent thread there, Spark (an excellent dealer and the head knocker of this site) asks for new recommendations for outstanding dealers here.

There is a boat-load of good info in those threads. It will also steer you away from the scam artists and the outright crooks *coughTheBladeShopcough*.

I have bought knives from these places and had excellent service;
www.knifeworks.com
www.dlttradingcompany.com
www.knivesshipfree.com
www.howesknifeshop.com
and I bought a strop bat and compound from
www.jreindustries.com
I also ordered 2 knives from Andy Roy at Fiddleback Forge while I have not recieved the knives yet (I'm on the waiting list) he is very quick to answer my questions and other people on the forum are very happy with his work and service. www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=826
All of these places had good prices and the items I ordered were delivered promptly. When I have contacted them for questions I also received quick replies.
Welcome to the forum. You should find some great info around here.

USCGGM, you won't find a better dealer than Mike and New Graham. They will go out of their way to make sure you are happy, and your knife is as you expect it to be.

There's a reason they're in the BFC Hall of Fame!

I have called New Graham before about orders, they have set knives aside for me, while they waited for my money order. Great store to do biz with, great service.!

I like Mike Latham at Collectorknives.net He has a great selection of traditional slipjoints. There are always 20 to 30 I would buy right now, if I had the funds. I have acquired about 6 knives or so from him so far. He ships quick and the knives have been of fine quality. No disappointments what so ever. Mike frequents this forum as well.
