Hey mate. You're really going to need to be a lot more specific and then you will still only get opinions. For example I'm going to say for me today it's the Opinel #8 in stainless. You just can't beat it for the price and I like the look. I'm not being sarcastic - you just need to say what you're looking for in terms of price, use, aesthetic, comfort, style, level of maintenance etc. Do you want toughness, edge retention, stain resistance, cutting geometry? You get the idea :)

In all seriousness the "best" of any "type" of knife doesn't exist. It's all too preferential to have a one knife fits all.

If you really want some sensible advice, offer up a price range & an idea of what you use an edc for.
Take some time to read the numerous threads that are started 10 times a day about people wanting a new edc.
Nobody here has one knife. Many of us have hundreds, & can't pick a favourite, let alone best.
Please don't ask for "the best," discussion will become emotional fast.
Also, the law in your jurisdiction is important: what are you allowed to carry?

What is the best knife ever maid for edc carry

That's a question that is highly subjective based upon both the user and the intended use. If you share some parameters as to what you'd like in a knife and what you plan on doing with it, you'd have plenty of people here ready to chime in. As Chris said, barring price, there are brands that are generally considered to be the best, such as CRK. Though I could select favorite EDC's from just about any of the high quality knife companies on the market.

I see you have edited your original post.
By 'bench made' do you mean hand assembled? I assume you don't mean the Benchmade company.

There are very few Benchmade knives that go for under $100 new these days. I guess my favorite would be the mini griptilian, but there's only a couple choices.

If you want a budget EDC, you're better off looking towards Spyderco or Kershaw.

There are so, so many choices. Literally dozens.

Common picks are the Leek, Thermite, Cryo 1/2, Blur, and Skyline.
There are also the Emerson/Kershaw collabs, and the CQC-6k and 7k have been popular around here lately. I have a 7k and am very pleased with it.

The best choice is all dependent on your tastes and what your EDC tasks are.
