  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

A mere 5 hours in the slowcooker later...
Looks good, you are making me hungry!

Rode the ol' scooter up north to grab this. The turkey tail bottle has been discontinued so I wanted one to display. I currently have a store pick of the new KY Spirit that was picked on 9-11 with Bruce Russell. $5 from every bottle sold went to charity for people impacted by that day.
Right now I'm enjoying the RR single barrel for the first time. 110 proof, non- chill filtered. Lets just say the first pour has been a fun ride so far.

Greg, do you sweeten the coffee first, and what is the % breakdown . . . half & half, or what?

Double-shot of espresso (decaf in this case since it's late in the afternoon) poured into a 12-16 oz glass that is about 2/3 filled with crushed ice. Top with soda water.

I would imagine that it would be tasty with a bit of simple syrup or a flavored syrup, too, but I tend to drink my coffee black.
