I'm a lover not a fighter...but that concoction can change the world in a heartbeat....Jack Black lets have a Manhattan on the upcoming full moon ...we can be like smooth American compadres.
...nb no idea whats in a manhattan but imagine it will make me wittier than Woody Allen.

Jon, a Manhattan is very simple to make. The recipes usually call for two ounces of Bourbon, I believe, but I like three ounces. Maybe a half-ounce of sweet vermouth (adjust to taste). Some might add a dash or two of bitters. Shake with ice in a coctail shaker, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry. As a youngster growing up( lol) in Sydney the most exotic cocktail was bundy n coke.I was feeling adventurous one night and ordered whst I now badge "A Killer" a cocktail of my own invention and not for the feint of heart..Double shot OP Bundaberg Rum with ice in a middy 285ml glass and topped with coke...a couple of those and you will be singin the blues or bluein the singers.

There was a chess champion once that played a game on a large chess board with drinks for pieces, the more powerful the piece the bigger the drink. Their rules called for the player who captured a piece to immediatley consume the alcohol he captured. The champion sacrificed his queen, forcing his opponent to drink a large amount, thus intoxicating him. The champion easily won.I never clicked with chess. Maybe some incentive...

Me neither ...ahh but I see you're using the Meakoscovich opening...very shrewd....I counter by placing an 18gallon keg on the board.I never clicked with chess. Maybe some incentive...

Into the past my friend into history....hey I just watched The Fred Dibnah Story....classic...it popped up in a youtube link....Fred climbed those chimneys no pansy boy safety ropes for him...a true Englishman and a slice of British history...I found it compellingly interesting....because he was an ordinary bloke.Very niceI think I was about 20 the last time I had a Tequila Sunrise! So that was just a couple of years ago, eh Jack? Neither my wife nor I have had a Tequila Sunrise in at least the last 10 years or so. Since it was Cinco de Mayo we were aiming for a tequila drink but none of our limes are in yet...our orange and mandarin trees on the other hand have fruit...fortunately we also had a small bottle of Grenadine lying around...time for a couple of Sunrises!! The blood red Scout was too red to match drinks...should have used a rust red TC instead for the photo...next time...and those Sunrises were so good, I won't let another decade pass until the next one!!!
