Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

I was at Höfbrauhaus München this summer and although the brass music and social drinking/eating was pleasant, it was bit too hectic for my taste. :)
I did buy ceramic mug though, and I enjoy that quite bit!

I was at the one in Las Vegas. It was very nice. Great food and the best Octoberfest beer I have ever had.

I'm making beercan chicken today, so I've got 2 hours of beer drinking ahead of me.

I hope your family appreciates the ordeal you're going through to get dinner on the table. ;)

That's a lovely beer scout you've got there. I think I've seen you enjoying that IPA before. A favorite of yours?

Definitely a favorite. It has a very unique flavor. It's not something you drink every day, but it's a delightful treat.

JITDC and mortonm, I'm not familiar with either of those breweries, but their beers look nice with your respective cap lifters. :) Did you enjoy the brews? Is the Nickel Brook a Saison?

Oak-aged gin. Who knew?

Nickelbrook is in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and they make great stuff

That specific one was a Vanilla Citrus Pale Ale

Cheers!

StoneBeard, that's a fine pairing of two British classics.

Thanks Greg. Boddingtons is one of my go to easy drinking beers and the Lambsfoot has been an outstanding new carry.

That's an interesting spin with the addition of oak. How'd you like it? The saw-cut delrin looks great on that Barlow.

I was motivated by a post Wilted Kilt made here over a month ago which included a nice blade and bottle of Kombucha so I decided to ferment a batch of my own. Here's a glass from the test run along with my #77, which cut up the strawberry and lemons that were used to re ferment in the bottle-

Michigan beer in Tennessee.

Bells makes some really outstanding beers with Kalamazoo Stout being one of my favorites. I've got some good friends from Grand Rapids who turned me onto that and their two harted ale.

Yes indeed  I haven't seen Boddingtons in ages, a bit of a blast from the past, what do you make of it StoneBeard?

Absolutely! Bells makes some great beer, but my favorite is another Michigan brewery from Grand Rapids, Founders Porter... just can't compare southern beers to northern ones imho but at least we can open with beautifully designed cap-lifters!
