Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

I’ll be back in town for a day next month. I’ll definitely be grabbing a Schlafly Coffee Stout while I’m there.
Nice case too btw 😄
Thanks! Yeah, that’s a good one. Missed the “Cabin Fever” event at the Schlafly’s Bottle Works this January. Have you ever been to that event? The year before last it was snowing hard, it was a perfect day for that party!👍🍺👍

Nope, never been to one of their events. I used to go to the one in Maplewood just because a bunch. Just saying the thought of snow sounds gross 🤣

I know...😂 it doesn’t sound like a great time but it really is, lots of beer tents, fire pits everywhere, bands, and lots of folks having a great time! After a few beers, you don’t even notice the cold weather. Every once in a while it falls on one of those days when there is a January thaw, 40 degrees, and everyone acts like it’s spring time!
🍺👍

Jon, if you go to Schlafly's you have to try their Baltic Porter. My favorite dark beer . . . period!

Schlafly makes some excellent beer.  Unfortunately it’s been 10+ years since I lived inside their distribution area, so I don’t get to enjoy it very often. 🙁 I always enjoyed going to the Tap Room for lunch or dinner, too, when we were in town for Cards games.

I may have told some stories in one thread or another here about the fishing trips I took every summer in high school with one of my best friends and his dad. We’d travel from Arkansas up to Minnesota and spend a week or so fishing different lakes around my friend’s uncle’s place. Busch Light was the unofficial official beer of those trips, so it still holds a special place in my heart. 😁

The Tap Room is a great place. They have some pretty good events there as well. Haven’t been to one in a while but since Covid seems to be letting up 🤞 I’m sure we will hit one up soon!🍺👍
