Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

I saved my classic macallan 12, and opened the newer offering one of the secretaries bought me for christmas the other year. Im surprised to hear that, since you are a short train/boat ride away from scotland?
I tend to do that too Jack! :D Yes, I don't know if things have changed, but it was very strange. I used to travel to France regularly at one time, and lived there, so I missed it after I moved back. There seemed to be a noticeable difference in quality, between the 10 and 12, and a large difference in price between the 10 and the older whiskies. Hope you enjoy it

That used to be one of my regulars Jack, but for reason, while they exported the 12, they only sold the 10, 15, and 25 in the UK :(

Thai beer with lunch :)

I can only find the 12 year here. I like the 10 year.

ill have to look into this, i dont think ive ever seen the 10 before.
If you ever get the chance, try the 12 year Double Cask.

The Sherry Oak Cask was my favorite for several years. Then one day my wife picked up a bottle of Macallan 12 year because she knew that I liked Macallan. The one she picked up was Double Cask and I ended up liking it even better.

Did you find that stout to your liking, Jack?
I usually don't like fancy flavors (fruits, pancakes, French toast) in my stouts, but hazelnut sounds like something I'd definitely be willing to try!

Here's an old St. Patrick's Day photo that I'll use here. I currently have some Killian's in the basement, but no Guiness, and I didn't even drink a Killian's tonight!! o_O
