Beware: Bigpoleski is selling stolen knives

IMPORTANT. Please Read. Bigpoleski has been selling stolen knives since he joined here in April 2023.

My name is Jeff Goldman and I have been a member of this forum since the beginning of 2020. I have bought, sold and traded many knives during this time. I know many of you and call you my friends.

Some of you reading this already know that my apartment in San Francisco was burglarized in February of this year while I was out of town for a week. Everything I owned in this world was stolen. Everything. 13 firearms, all my electronics, clothes, appliances, hard drives of documents and photos of my children AND my knife collection that I had began putting together after I completed my 4 year tour with the USMC in 2004. This collection was well over 100 knives and on the high end was worth $75k - $100k easily.

I’m meticulous and keep detailed records. Many of those were stolen, too, but the knives that Bigpoleski sold include serial numbers that I can trace. He even took pics of those numbers and posted them. He sold two of my Microtech Tachyon III (Stormtrooper version and one with black handles), my custom made HOM Design Maelstrom that Jerry HOM will confirm that he made for me, a Protech TR-5, and many others.

There is an ongoing investigation by the San Francisco Police Dept.

I discovered just today that Bigpoleski has been selling my knives here and I’m going to be reporting him to the detective assigned to my case as soon as business hours begin.

Please do not buy anything else from him. For those of you who purchased my knives, I’m sure the police will want to talk to you but you are innocent in this and I won’t be looking to have these knives confiscated. That wouldn’t be fair to you. I want Bigpoleski to be held responsible for knowingly purchasing stolen goods and then selling them here. The police believe who ever purchased my knives from the thieves did so at a ridiculously small number (something like $50 per knife). I don’t know how they know or think that but it is what it is.

I’d be happy to answer any questions anyone has.

B Bigpoleski - do the right thing and cooperate with the police when they contact you. What you’ve done up until now is disgusting but you can do better.

I'd also like to know how you know that Bigpoleski is a thief rather than an innocent person who may have inadvertently purchased stolen knives without knowing what they were. Have you contacted him and if so, what did he say?

The police recovered two of my firearms and the person in possession made a plea deal. I was f given details other than that and that whoever perpetrated the burglary did so with others and sold all my property to “inside” people who were aware of what they were buying.

Plus, if you read the posts, Bigpoleski doesn’t say he bought these from someone else or that he isn’t the original owner. To the contrary.

But you all have every right to believe what you want, have the opinions you choose to have, and do what you want to do.

My intent was to warn others on this forum. If you have a problem with that, I don’t really have a response.

You’re not hearing us. Proof would be confirmation that said knives were yours by serial #… not “but he didn’t say he bought them from someone else”. Saying you’re the original owner or not isn’t a requirement for a sales post.

Warn away.. if you have PROOF. But what I don’t appreciate is leveling accusations of scumbaggery at people in the GBU without showing us evidence.

No where in the rules does it say you have to post where you got the knives from.

Show the serial numbers that link up him being the seller of the knives that were stolen.
