I just identified Freebird recurbept@bellsouth.net as the thief jtstrider sneaking back on board. I kicked his heinie overboard again but if anybody is in the middle of arranging a deal with him, don't send him anything!

Hmm. I am pretty sure that email looks familiar as someone who recently contacted me about a knife. Didn't work out (fortunately I guess). Wish I could remember the details.
 
His modus operandi has been to offer a trade that's too good to be true, and if you tell him since you don't know him you want to wait until you receive his knives before you send yours, you never hear from him again.

I am not defending him or anything bad he has done but I do have to say that I had a trade with him on the other forum(did not know it was him at the time)and it worked out fine.
 
u812, you got lucky he is a piece of shit, he was the guy who screwed RRG about a month ago and contacted me recently about a knife, but I checked him out, his post count was too low so I backed out.
 
Did anyone get an address from this joker? Was it somewhere in Georgia? I'm afraid he's back....

Patriot24 turns out to be the swindler jtstrider sneaking back in. Beware of newbies offering trades too good to be true and using addresses:

Gives a name of Brian Towns and a phone number of 770-428-8988.

This area is upscale suburban (like 6+ figure homes). I was able to find that there are 5 residents; one 26, 2 middle-aged. The stuff about the residents may not be accurate however.

The second address appears to be unlisted, in a low income area.

There may be more information to come.

So there are more names to play with.

There's a divorce case from 03/09/1989. Plaintiff is TOWNS VIVIAN J, defendant is TOWNS JOHN WAYNE.

Criminal record looks clean for all names, but that's only for that particular court.


Remember that there's no evidence that jtstrider is any of these people, at least for now.
 
hello all... im one of the people that patriot24 tried ripping off... the email address that he used to contact me was : jk311t@aim.com and the name Keith Jon... our most recent communication was this morning when he emailed me asking where the microtech was...
