Cougar - thanks for being as diligent as you are! Obviously it's needed.

uh, yeah..that!

randucci
samhain
labella
and
lacie too!

we kicked his ass!

I seem to recall he also went by the names Deadon.50 and Hiswill1 on USN and was promptly banned. This guy is a total scumbag.

And Code3, and several more members whose names I won't mention until I know whether they prefer to be anonymous (some do) -- and the more of us are on the lookout the easier it'll be to catch him next time. I doubt we've seen the last of him....

We are also pretty sure he goes by "Talonite" on Knifeforums:thumbdn:

watchur6 on JerzeeDevil and also this name above...pretty certain!:barf:

When a guy pops in here trying to sell knives and does not have a selling membership, it might be best to think about a transaction.

"Do I want to start a deal with someone, who is breaking the rules and at the very least taking advantage of the forums (no matter which one) and the folks who support it?" "Is this the type of behavior that is common around knife folks?"

For me the answer is no to both questions.

His main scam seems to involve a trade rather than a sale. He offers a trade that's too good to be true, and if you send him your knife (or knives) he'll send you nothing, or if pressed he'll send you junk (not what he promised). If you tell him you'll send yours after you receive his you either won't hear from him again or he'll go off on you.

In his first appearance here, as jtstrider, he went off on people he couldn't cheat here in TGB&U as well as in email. He just hates people he can't cheat....

If I can help anyone out with this joker. Let me know. It is not even a long distance phone call for me and the LEO's in the surburbs of Bastidville get bored at times. :D

Caught him again, alias Centerfire this time.

For whatever it is worth: Before this guy posted under Patroit he e-mailed
me, of all people, to try to trade. I did not know at the time it was who it was, I simply did not want what he had. I learned quite a bit about him when
I had my problem with him. I also talked to the Cobb Co. Police dept. Prec 5
& they have a detective who works internet fraud cases. In case this guy
has gotten to any of you you might give them a call. Their phone # is
770-499-4600. You might want to keep the phone # as it probably is just a
matter of time before someone needs it.

If you see a newbie you think might be him sneaking back in please send me an email or private message. Don't post; we don't want to scare off innocent newbies.

Patriot24 AKA Centerfire AKA Talonite (on knifeforums) ripped me off a brand new large Sebenza. It was for a "used SNG." I am pretty pissed to say the least. Any other information would be appreciated. The reverse directory information was the same I came up with. (Towns etc...) I left a message with a detective for the local Sheriff department. He hasn't called back yet...

Been on the phone this morning passed around the COBB P.D. trying to get a handle on this for SHTF.

Forget the 4600 extension. The Fraud department number is 770-499-4651 and 4659. Those are the guys to speak with. They stated they will act, but they need a complaint from an actual victim rather than me.

If others who have been taken by this P.O.S. would give them a call it will help.

Check your email SHTF.

We are getting closer.
I had a very upset mom call me. She does not suspect Brian, but has strong suspicions about her other son. Stay tuned.:D
I just neeed to gather a little more info for her.

Brian is not the the person. I want to give the parents (who have been more than honest with me and want to make thing right) a couple of days for them to investigate.

Folks,

Let's be patient here. After talking with some family members tonight this will get worked out. I have been talking with people I trust and know that we will get to the bottom of this.

I was ripped by "CENTERFIRE" AKA "PATRIOT4" on a LNIB Sebenze. Bastid contacted the parties involved in the the theft AND it looks like I'll be getting my blade back. KUDOS to "Bastid" for the help. He is a top knotch guy.
