I sent Dashunde (Rob Balser) payment for a Kershaw Avalanche over a month ago. My check has been cashed. I have received a couple of emails from Rob apologizing for being too busy to ship my knife. The last email was 3/5 where he stated that my knife was being shipped "for sure" the next day. I still have not received my knife and my last two emails have gone unanswered. I understand that we all get busy at times and personal emergencies sometimes arise but over a month seems excessive. I hate getting taken and it is even worse when it is done by a fellow forum member.

Hi Steven,

We're in the same situation as you know

Just wish I would live only a couple of hundreth miles away I would pay him a visit for sure.

I will try giving him a call in a short while and see what happens.

Best wishes,

Hi Guys... sorry about the excessive delays. Both of your knives are currently enroute, and have been for a few days now.

Overall, my entire lifestyle has changed from working in-home every day (at the time of these sales) to being at home for about 7hrs each day now - and having one day off per week... big changes to say the least.

Dashunde,

I truly hope you are bieng upfront and honest here. People here have long memories from what ive seen. The number of people that have stood up in support of these gentlemen has been astounding. Now if in fact you are bieng truthful, I will be the first to openly apologize for the manner in which I persued your character. I find it highly unfortunate that your business misfortune with these men has become so public. If in fact your life is changing as drastically as you describe, I understand. In all fairness, the "I got scr..ed again" post is also about your dealings with these men. Here you will see an example of integrity amongst people who have never met, but defend one another voraciously. I imagine the same would be done for you, if you ran into misfortune in a dealing. Please keep that in mind. I hope that you can become a name that people will not have the slightest qualm of dealing with. I do feel however that after this unfortunate incident, that it will take honest effort on your part. I am also new here but the brotherhood that exists here is astounding. Again, if you are bieng honest and forthright, I openly admit my mistake. Additionally, if in fact I and the others are wrong, everyone owes you an apology. I certainly hope that the knives turn up and that my apology will be taken as sincere. Let me be the first to do so. If in fact I am wrong, I am sorry. Hope to hear good news soon. NW

Thanks Northwind, until a few weeks ago I had all the time in the world... I just ran out of it.

This whole mess is entirely my fault and the resulting GBU is plently "fair".
I simply allowed my new schedule and/or tired-lazyness to delay the shipping of these knives far too long.

Then I wish the best of luck to you my friend. I am glad we have your assurances that this is not intentional. And like I said, if you are sincere, my apology is first in line. NW

Dashunde-

Glad to hear from you again. As I mentioned in my original post I can understand getting busy or having personal affairs to attend to that take priority over sending some knives. I just got concerned when a week had passed with no delivery after you said that the knives were being sent "for SURE" and I had not gotten any replies to my emails requesting shipping information and tracking numbers.

I will be looking for the delivery of my knife and I will inform the forum when it has arrived. If you could email me any shipping information that would be great.

Sorry this had to go to the forum but I hafta admit that you had me worried. Hope this all works out in the end.

-Steven

Not to worry... I too would have reamed someone in the GBU for my sloth-like speed in shipping if the roles were reversed.

My Kershaw Avalance arrived this afternoon. The old saying is correct: Late is WAY better than never. Rob, thanks for getting this transaction completed.
