Please ask him to contact makdknife1 concerning the Gladius. I'm 99.99 percent sure he won't, but there is always that .01 percent chance... I know if I was him, but honest, and someone called me a thief, and a wasn't - I'd be very pissed off and on the phone/email to that person/accuser. Note: I have not heard from Dean since sometime in March 2018. The knife was in 'pending mode' for, literally, months (about 3 or 4) before March. Here it goes again - Dean Hannemann, of Blade Gathering, is a thief. One can only assume he stole my Gladius which was shipped and received by him, and put up for a consignment sale on his site. Apparently, he sold it and kept my money, or he simply kept the knife because he refuses to communicate with me. I have contacted the Feds and local law enforcement and have made the proper reports. I'm hoping to have him prosecuted.
 
Wow , I have looked at his sight often . And I had one transaction but I was the seller . But this is where I think this will get interesting. He has been advertising spots on IG for Reese Weiland knives can't remember the model but it looked like some of those spots got filled . Also I think I recall lots of complaints about Weiland being extremely slow at delivery.

Are you referencing your post on April 20th post noting you emailed him and and followed up saying he responded that he would be checking it out? Or have you sent an additional email following up on this issue?
 
...anyway, people, as you can see, Dean Hannemann will not respond to this thread. The reason is all is documented, reported and true - beyond reproach. If you are going to do business with Dean Hannemann, owner of Blade Gathering, do so at your own risk - consider yourselves warned. Note too, if you were aware of my age, health, and financial condition, all of which Dean is aware of, chances are, it would infuriate you. Dean is also a cold and heartless thief, nuff said.

Seems a gent sent him a knife in late '17 to be sold on consignment for $1795 - you guessed it, knife vanished and no sign of the dough.

I think it may be as the images at the end appear to be a Gladius as the OP mentions.

I did what I could
I sent him an email..he replied Done

I have had dealings over numerous years w Dean
Never one issue However things happen in life to
cause changes and not always good ones.

Unfortunately if he went dark
I would assume the same

As stated Hoping you get a resolution

Same here. Did business with him over years upon years, then suddenly, this. It was out of the blue, never thought he would do this to me. Something went down and I think it was heavy, whatever it was. The authorities will eventually get to the bottom of this. I wish Dean had been straight with me, whatever it was/is. I would have understood and worked with him. When he went dark, I could only assume the worse, as I cannot afford this loss. Now, for the sake of the good, I have to make it a point he not do business, at least online. For him to steal from me - he'd steal from anyone and I sincerely believe it is my duty to see to it that doesn't happen.

Have sent numerous emails to Dean, during this entire thing, without a response as recent as two days ago, offering to deal with him. Same with phone. I guess he needed the money, heartless thief that he is.
