Beware of river city sheaths!!!!

Well, I got no response from him until I threat'd to put in a complaint to the Attorney General. Such BS...people are clueless on how run a business. Good luck getting yours.
 
I too have sent my knife and check (which was cashed) and now have been waiting for almost a year and a half. Mike has done several sheaths for me in the past with reasonable turn around time. He does excellent work. I hope his health problems aren't the problem, but " COME ON MAN !" communicate with your customers. :confused:
 
I don't mean to resurrect an old thread, but I just tried accessing the River City Sheaths Web site and discovered that the domain registration has expired and has not been renewed. Anybody know if River City Sheaths is still in business?

With the number and type of complaints in this thread, I would think they have closed up shop or opened under another name. Which name is any one's guess.
 
Ask in the Cold Steel Forum for his current info or on the Cold Steel Forum on their website. They are still in business, and he was posting heavily there recently. He does a lot of rigs for their Bowies still.
 
River City Sheaths complaint. Well he took my money for a couple of sheaths but did not deliver any product. Attempts to contact him turned up nothing. He seems to be avoiding simple inquiries for updates on when I will get my sheaths. I don't want them now and having my credit card company and paypal dispute the transaction .
 
Several weeks ago I was in contact with him he seemed to be very responsive at that time. I hope it works out for you.
 
I've always got a backlog because of the quality of the work. Your turn hadn't yet come up in the rotation, and it is too bad you are too impatient to wait your turn. Since you no longer want the sheaths, I have sent you a full refund before you need to file any disputes. Take care.
