I'd have posted this sooner if I'd seen this thread when it was active.
I knew Parker for close to 10yrs on another forum. He was a standup guy and I did a number of high value deals with him. Not sure what his personal story is but maybe 4-5yrs ago he stepped off the reservation and hasn't come back since. He never scammed me but he did the nasty on a number of other forumites. The worst instance was with a guy he'd been very tight with -- they'd trained together extensively, did a bunch of high ticket deals, and were like brothers. Then, when the other guy was going through a really nasty divorce Parker got with the other guy's soon-to-be ex and gave her a detailed accounting of all the trades they'd done and the values of all the goods in those trades, so that she could use the info to squeeze more $$$ out of the guy. Parker had no cause to do this since the other guy had always been rock solid with him. It was just one of those casual betrayals for which there is no excuse. Needless to say it was the end of their friendship. There were a number of other similar instances in which Parker revealed his true nature and for which he never apologized or even explained himself.
Having once considered the guy righteous I would never do business with him again.
