Beware using Kershawguy's shipping address entry vs Paypal info

*RESOLVED*

Ordered a Leek and entered my shipping address on his site. For some reason, Paypal still had an old address on file for the card I used and the item was shipped there instead. Delivery was confirmed and even with talking to the USPS supervisor before and after delivery, the package is now lost as the new tenants "never got it".

I would encourage everyone to triple verify their info on Paypal so this doesn't happen to you. Dave really didn't sympathize or offer a replacement and admitted it was an issue that had not been addressed on his website.

Needless to say I won't be using his services any longer. Serious lack of customer service.

If the USPS has delivery confirmation you can file mail fraud and the residence can get in some hot water for that. Especially if the package was made out into your name.
 
Not if the package was stuck in a box. Word vs Word and they aren't going to search this persons house.

Real solution would have been to address the issue, which Dave says he is now doing by comparing the addresses, but never offered me a replacement. The shipping issue I can understand...crap happens and policies are created because of discovering issues. Not offering a customer a replacement item because of an oversight was what ticked me off.

Without a sig, standard deliver confirmation is a joke. If the package is too big to fit in a mail box, and then left on a porch, who is to say it was not stolen. Trust me...been through this and PayPal will back up the seller 100%.
 
Dave didn't ship to the address I entered on the order, and it was sent to an address that had been deleted from paypal over a year ago.

Two company mess ups.

What happens when you want to send a gift, or maybe your on vacation or staying at another location? What's the point of having a "enter where you want the package shipped here" if your not going to do that?

sounds like the problem is you not updating or double checking pp info.not kershawguys problem or the postoffice.they sent/delivered to the address they were given.oops,more info since i started typing

This has already been addressed by me and I am double-checking address's before I ship. You will be receiving a replacement, that was never an issue for me. Would have been really nice if you would have allowed me the courtesy to address the email you sent today before posting this, because this was not needed. I do take care of my customers , even the impatient ones.

FYI I sent one last week as well with that request. This one was sent as a follow up with the intent to delete or update this thread if I had gotten a response.
 
Always found Kershawguy(Dave) has the best customer service. Give him a chance he will fix it!!

Very nice Dave. Agree 100%. Of the three "guilty" parties, (PP, OP, and you), I'd say you were the least guilty in this matter.

This was more your screw-up than his.

And VERY uncool of you to call him out like this before he has a chance to make it right.
 
Actually you never asked about a replacement, you only got angry when I suggested that you should update your paypal. All that was needed was to wait until mail landed and see what was up. Your replacement will be shipped today.
