BF W&S knife Ironwolf list

I've been busy and not able to check back often, but I see where I sent Christel Nelson $70 by paypal in late May...and that was the last thing I've heard despite queries to Ken.
 
I got an email yesterday? from Ken and he said that my finished knives were there (returned mail) but my blanks were not there. So he is shipping me the finished knives and making 2 more blanks.

Received an email from him on Tue. He said he was working hard to get everyones order/re-grinds done and shipped out ASAP. I just received my knife tonight. He also mentioned that he didn't get any of my voice mails, and didn't have access to his email.

He apparently had a very hard time while out of town working. Was very apologetic about the whole hassle. I mentioned that good clear communication here, and in private emails would go a long way. If you haven't for a while, now would be a good time to contact him to firm up shipping dates etc.... with Ken.

Guys, to save me time having to read this very long thread, can you give me a synopsis of how this started, what was promised, what has transpired/not transpired? Maybe I can help.

We all came up with two W&S survival knives with Sparks permission some time ago.

NWA (Nick) and Ironwolf (Ken) made two different knives. Tknife and I helped out by doing most of the leg work here on BF, while Ken, and Nick were making the knives.

Both designs were great. However while Nick did a fantastic job (both knife and communication) Ken got into some family/work issues. Poor communication and a few fit and finish problems arose after Ken tried to make up some time due to a little late delivery.

From what Ken has told me, he had one hell of a time out of town for his work. Broken computer ect......

From what I can tell, there are still a few that have not received their knives. And I think some that sent them back (to re do them) may not have received them.

I have talked to Ken a bit over the whole process. I think he is embarrassed to come here. Can't be sure of that of course.

I'll call him tomorrow and see what I can do. I have had good luck tracking him down from time to time.
 
Ok, thanks for the update. Gotta look out for my forumites! Please let me know if I can help in any way, but it sounds like you have a good handle on things.

Just wondering but I keep seeing people pop in and out saying they did or did not get their knives, or sent them back and such. Wonder if it would serve any purpose if we could get a thread with all of folks who are waiting? Or not?:confused:
 
I got my knives, just to confirm.
 
I just sent Ironwolf an email asking about mine I sent back and telling him if he doesn't have time to fill my order that he can just refund my paypal.

We'll see how it goes:thumbup:

HD I think we might start a thread in The Good, Bad, Ugly to get everyone on a list that is owed a knife. Free up a sticky here and in a more proper sub forum.

Just a thought.
 
Or I can just move this thread over there? Let me know which. I'm going to unstick it meantime.
