man.. what a bummer this turned out to be....:( glad to hear it's finally starting to get squared away...
 
My real disappointment is how he blew a great chance to build a reputation here on this forum. Other knifemakers have really expanded their sales and fame by taking care of us or by returning a simple email. Everyone, including myself, was willing to give him more time to fix everything but he ducked-out and had to be tracked-down. That's the trajegy.
 
I just washed my hands of it and gave it away for basically nothing in the exchange. Oh well. I'll just stick with the guys I know in the future. Sucks, I should have gotten a refund, but I just wanted a speedy end to it.
