Based on the size of that FS thread, I suspect you may not be the only unhappy customer. He is also trying to get rid of a few guns too.

Hopefully he will see this thread and chime in. Have you had any post-arrival contact with him? He may be willing to take it back.

Yeah, I PM'd him right after it arrived this afternoon, haven't heard back yet.
 
well i would of appreciated a heads up first but the knife was bnib when i got it from previous owner never carried it my self stayed in my safe i store boxes seperate i grabbed the kjnife to ship forgot the box i told you if you are unhappy i would refund your money i tell that to all buyers but a heads up would of been good last time. im selling the guns to pay for my car repairs in a tight spot right now if you all must know.
 
when i had bought the blade posted as bnib i pout it in the safe so i simply posted as i had bought it i had not sharpened or carried it i offered his money back or whatever he wants
 
Did you know it had been used by the previous owner?? I understand you put it in the safe and did not use it yourself, but did you know it was used??

BNIB = Brand New In Box.... ie NEVER USED.
 
Snakedoc, what do you want for an answer? He just posted that he's OK with a refund if ten-ringer wants it. At this point, anything else is piling on.
 
it was sold to me as BNIB but since its been a while forgetting the seller its a lost cause now but on my part should have examined the knife better before posting it as listed whenever i tell buyers i can not post pics my camara and my comp dont ge talong i say i do 100%money back if for whatever reason they dont like it i told him it and every other person that purchased a knife from that thread i dont know what else to do i askled him what he proposes for a soloution he never told me and he had never sent me pics as requested so i can see the descrepincies he was speaking of

Not piling on, just curious as I was about to pull the trigger on his sale add. I can understand buying something and throwing it in the safe and later on down the road finding it was used by the previous owner. But I can not understand selling something as new and knowing it was used.

Just looking for a little clarity in this situation, not adding fuel to a fire.

Esav I appreciate your job here and your willingness to mediate these touchy situations. I should have been more clear with my intent on my first post in this thread.
