BG WTF Pic Thread

WOW!!!! That's is about all that I can say. I received my BG WTF yesterday. This is my first Busse/Kin knife and I have been in awe since I opened it. Without even using it yet, I can truly understand why Busse Combat products have the strong following like they do. This knife blows my mind!!!

Please ignore the ruler in the pics as we all know the specs, these were taken with my phone to send to friends....and as someone has already said....pics just DO NOT do this blade any justice.

lol..wow!! a War Train for a "First" Busse!!??....that black on black looks awesome! your gonna love how stubbornly tough that sr101 is..

Thanks Rob....lol...yeah I couldn't resist when I seen this one come up on O2W. I would have LOVED to get the CS but it just wasn't in "the cards" as are a few others.

Now to find some leather pants...lol.
 
Now that's what I wish the tan canvas was more like, its almost like a dark leather brown.. I like.
 
Decided to grill tonight, so I got to split some wood.















Small logs for a small grill.


I've never been too good at feather sticks.

Late to the party, I know. :rolleyes: Mine sat at home patiently waiting on me for 2 weeks (and not the proverbial Busse "2 weeks"). We were finally introduced on Thursday. A quick pic.



This thing is truly a beast! :eek: Mine measures just shy of 0.3" thick, at 0.295" on the flats. A little thicker than what was advertised, but you won't hear me complaining. :D Mine is just under 0.040" thick behind the edge with the factory grind, not too shabby for such a massive blade! :cool: With such a tall blade, even with a saber grind the primary bevel has decent slicing geometry. She weighs in at exactly 36oz (1,020g). Can't wait to get some usage under my belt with this blade! :thumbup:

Anyone else notice that the texture pattern at the front of this Fusion handle is different than other fusions handles? I noticed it right away with the sharp peaks, and after pulling out a few other Fusion blades, it was confirmed. Not sure whether I like this version or the other version better.

Here are a couple pics with my Boom Parang that also arrived while I was out of town. I'm pretty happy with the new canvas colors. I definitely see more green and maroon in my future! :D

Seeing how good the green canvas looks, I'm thinking I should have ordered it, instead of the tan canvas. I did the tan/sage because that is what my KZII and Rattle Hawk are.
 
Is the Boom Parang tanker with Maroon canvas?
