BHQ HAP40 Lum Chinese

Sounds like the Lum Tanto all over again.

How do they get the Pakkawood series so right and these so wrong? Maybe the tooling is more developed/mature for Delica/Enduras.
 
Gritty action, lamination lines aren't great and blade isn't centered. Reminds why I haven't purchased a Japanese made Spyderco in a while. I'm going to keep it but not worth $210 IMO.
 
I'm not sure that it's a thing with all their Japanese-made knives. I got a Seki-made Ouroboros earlier this year and it came super smooth and centered out of the box.
