BHQ Para2 black CPM-M4, jade scales

Tracking updated on mine, scheduled to arrive to me in Ohio tomorrow (I ordered within a few minutes of release and used their free shipping option).

Wallet needs recovery time!

Seriously, between the DLC m4 PM2 and the Lum Tanto last month, I've got to take it easy. I'm having a hard time saying no to the Maxamet Golden, CO runs and the Vtoku2 sprint coming up as well.

My tracking info is still just showing as "label created" so no telling when mine gets to Arkansas.

I know the picture shows silver liners, but I really hope they are blacked out like on the jade Manix.

Really doubt they will be black liners. I don't think Spyderco has ever done black liners on the PM2. I've been buying them since they were first released and I don't know of any examples with black liners.

I agree with you though, would look great.

I'm changing scales immediately, but I agree it'd look much better in Jade with a black liner like the Manix. I don't think that the cutlery shoppe orange cts-xhp DLC sprint had black liners either. I thought I saw a picture on here once of one, but I think it was a fake??

Just out of curiosity, what are you guys that are switching out the scales, switching them to?

I'm going to put on my flytanium stonewashed Ti scales. I think then I'll have my "ultimate PM2" that I've been wanting to build.

I'm trying to decide between "borrowing" my camo scales from another pm2, or getting something new.

Im tempted to try and black out the liners myself I just don't know how.. anyone here an expert on coatings ?
Doesn't have to be bomb proof like the DLC, just enough to change the color.

Non DLC or Titanium nitride is going to wear at the lock face and go back to steel eventually. It's also going to be thicker, even minimally, and may cause lock stick. Just my $0.02

Man I'm excited for this one.. . Mine has been in "label created " limbo for 24 hours and I feel like I'm 12 again with no patience .

Mine was the same status till I checked again recently now showing some movement as being in SLC's distribution center heading out west to CA. It is estimating delivery schedule for Monday 4/02 but I'm hoping that it should be here on Saturday. I'm guessing that it went out 1st-Class as opposed to Priority Mail. I'd be a bit surprised if indeed 1st-Class because adding the Lynch clip put the order right under 2 Bill$. Still, very much looking forward to having this in my pocket safely and soundly :)

Regarding handle scales swapping and as such, the black Spyderco peel ply CFs (don't like the smooth and no texture Flytanium ones) but I'm not about to spend 220 on the CF/M4 satin version to do some swapping trickery. Apart from the black Ti Lynch deep tip up carry, I'll be keeping this according to the original specs.

Just ordered my knifeworks m4 i guess ill have to kick a cruwear out. I love the peel ply carbon fiber its easily my favorite handle material and m4 is my favorite steel so far.. I got a set of brass scales for the para from blade hq they were only like 60 bucks. But they add some heft.
