Bic Quick Dry Trick

great to see someone disproving our myths about certain gear instead of just saying " I tried it and it didn't work":thumbup:

Good job. Congratulations on your first video. Careful its addictive. Mac

Rick - I agree with everyone else. That video is great. Hard to believe it was your first. Hopefully it won't be the last. Humor is a definite plus. Good job. I have always de-childproofed my Bics because it makes them much easier to light. This is added incentive.:thumbup:

P.S. Don't let all the nice comments go to your head. :D It was good but you're no Scorsese or DeNiro. :D -DT

nice video man! very entertaining and useful info too!!

fwiw, I've been a smoker for a few years now and a wet lighter and the craving for a cigarette don't usually go too well together . What I usually do is run the lighter down my pant leg a few times(with the little child proofy thing off of course), make sure you do it in the direction the wheel moves when your trying to light it otherwise you can mess up that little ferro rod in there(shiny silver part pointed towards the ground, wheel against your pant leg, move it down your leg not up). Seems to get the lighter working alot quicker than blowing or flicking it a million times. Basically the same thing you're doing in the vid just a different way of doing it, plus I'm not nearly useful enough to actually make a vid!!! lol

That was a great video, thanks. It made me laugh when you shook the water out of the BIC all over the kitchen floor. My wife would yell at me for doing that.

sometimes its the simplest things that are right under our noses that we cant figure out.

good stuff and pretty darn funny i thought.

BIC is my all time trusted method for fire.they're actually pretty damn well made pices of kit and i dont buy any other type of butane lighter so for me this is helpful.

thanks

haha, too good rick. You should bring this over to the northamerican survival forum, they would like it for sure, or i can:D
