Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my shop with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Distal taper to the butt and tip
Professionally stabilized spalted maple handle. (Look closely and you will see some figure too)
Overall length: 8 1/2 inches
Blade: 4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

That's awesome. Lots of working belly like a Nessmuk without the extra swoop. I told myself I wasn't going to double up onknives and the holday shopping. But damn. I'm going to have to think about this. I've been looking for a Nessmuk, but this looks just as much what I want.
 
Boy that looks cool to me! The swooping lines of both the knife top and bottom from tip to tail are great looking as is the handle. I'm going to have one of yours with this general feel one day if you'll do another. Jeeze, you find the sweetest wood most every time including this one.
