Hey guys!
This is a camp knife I finished up recently.. The steel is Kelly Cupples 1065 differentially heat treated with my clayless hamon technique, then tempered to 375 for two two hour cycles. The final finish is 600grit etched to show hamon.
Overall length is 11 1/4"
Blade length is 6 3/4"
handle length is 4 1/2"
Blade thickness is about 5/32" (too lazy for decimal conversion

blade width is 1 5/16"
The handle is knapped walnut stained with watco, antiqued with some various other stains.. then sealed with beeswax.
This knife was designed to be a stout user.. the blade shape promotes chopping capabilities typically above a knife this size's.. and the first inch and a quarter of the blade starting at the handle is ground to a sharp 90' angle for use with a fire steel. The rest of the blade's spine is beveled.
As with all of my knives, if it gets really messed up during normal use I'll fix or replace it.. (no crowbaring please).
