Big Honkin' Bowie

only with risk, can there be reward.

You really have that style down my friend. Absolutely Beautiful!
The damascus looks a little like a wolf's tooth pattern.

I agree, perfectly fitting background.

Awesome knife, SHARP image. I can almost see the shimmer in that steel ;)

One of my favourites of yours to date. I really like how the damascus pattern came out.

Great background Coop! The earthy roughness complements the smoothness of the handle very well. Fantastic shot of a beautiful knife.

Yipe!!!! DH III strikes again!!!!:D How much W2 did you put into the mix, Don?

I think it is a very sad commentary, when a maker of Don Hanson III's high reputation victimizes a novice collector by delivering what might pass, to the untrained eye as a "Bowie Knife". The multitude of flaws and defects is much too numerous to mention. I am frankly shocked!

I am willing to right this terrible wrong, to protect the integrity of the Blade Forum's custom knife community.

If Don's victim contacts me directly, I will discreetly make good on his loss from this swindle.

Furthermore, I will ensure that this monstrosity offends no more innocent eyes, by placing it at the very back of my display cabinet!

P

That is quite a generoaus offer. LOL!

Don seems to have an unending supply of the best walrus and mammoth ivory, and that does help!

I think that Damascus pattern really fits that blade profile very well. Congratulations on another masterpiece. And congrats to Coop on another memorable image.

I think I'm in love.

Admittedly, not much detail to this response. But I'm too stunned to say more!

Don, this Big, Bad Bowie turned out great! Love the damascus (composition and pattern) you turned into such an aggressive blade. Top notch walrus, as usual, and just an awesome final product! Coop's image is wonderful, really liking the dramatic background.

Good stuff!
