Can't name at least one or two to help us members out?
I hesitate to make negative comments about any vendor I have not personally done business with. Since I do a fair amount of reading and research on a vendor first, I've managed to avoid the ones Vonbyulo is probably referring to. There a LOT of vendors who leave a great deal to be desired...rangeing from being near-dishonest to just incompetent.
It's always a good idea to do a search on any vendor before you deal with them, it can avoid a lot of frustration. Price alone should not be the deciding factor.
My top two are New Graham and Knifeworks. Good prices, good inventory, good web sites, outstanding customer service. In all my reading I have yet to see a single even slightly negative comment about either.
KnifeCenter is also very good. Prices are sometimes a tad higher, but great customer service and frequently have SPECIALS that are outstanding.
Possibly surprisingly, Amazon is also a good place to check for a low price.
I've also dealt very positively with the subject of the OP, BladeHQ/BladePlay and had only positive experiences.
