Big or Small EDC ?

I am going to buy a new knife and I go through these big or small EDC. Right now I am looking at the new Socom Elte, Spyderco Military or PM2, Benchmade Bedlam 8600, BM 940, Gayle Bradley 2 and this new knife made by WE knives called the Primortal designed by Adam Purvis. It drives me crazy. I cannot decide what size I want. It will only be used for light utility and self defense. Does anyone else have this problem?
For your requirements I would suggest the PM2. I prefer the GB2 but since you mentioned SD, I’ll stick with the PM2.
Another suggestion is to go with a three folder system. Large, medium and small. Example:
LG - PM2 or Millie
Med - 940
Sm - Mini grip or whatever
Covers most situations.

Yeah, that happens. Lots of people obsessing over the weapon aspect of it. If you live in TJ, whats the Mexican knife laws like? I'd heard that they were tougher than here in the U.S.

Once you discount the weapon aspect, you find you really need less knife than you think in day to life.
Cannot carry a knife or any weapon. I thought it was a joke at first. Lol. One of the most dangerous countries in the world. Just looking for some thing to play with and start rebuilding my collection. It's really between the new socom elite, Spartan blade and a Adam Purvis made by we.

That was my thoughts exactly

I hope this doesn't get me fired from BladeForums, but sometimes I'm only packing a Victorinox Classic with its blade being less than 2"..

A name like Smaug and you are worried about being fired? Fie! But watch out for White Walkers, those SOBs cheat.

I carry a big AND a small EDC most days. The small is often a Wharcom or Benchmade 531, and the large has lately been a Tiger Claw with that horrible ring cut off the end. I actually use my EDCs for lots of little things during a day because I get all Arts and Crafty with leather and paracord and like to whittle on sticks while waiting to pick up my kids from school. The big hawkbill on the Tiger Claw is also surprisingly useful, because there is enough blade to get around large cutting tasks and the pointy bit laughs at clamshells. The only problem with it is that the wave is eating my pants, which is not appreciated.
