Wow! I have done hundreds of transactions using USPS and because of weather or holidays it seem like things get screwed up but I have never have not gotten an item. Never. Give it time boys, don't get childish, be an adult and talk in a tone that swearing is unnecessary because then you have nothing in your brain to make sense.

I dropped a package off at the post office at 11am with paid postage already on it couple days ago. Tracking didn't show up til the next night. Don't know why but those types of things do occasionally happen at PO. Label didn't get scanned since didn't ask for reciept or something I suppose.

Anyone who has any extensive experience using USPS knows that it is NOT uncommon for a tracking # to not show up, sometimes for days. The receipt DOES prove that a piece of mail was accepted by USPS heading for Vineland, NJ, 08630. It ABSOLUTELY DOES. I speak from having shipped thousands of packages.

I also read through the little "dust up" nj67 had w/ Josh at razor-edge-knives. All I know is that Josh has a stellar reputation. Personally, I have seen his work & it's amazing. The couple of times I spoke with Josh, he was professional & courteous.

We have all gotten the point. nj67 has no patience and no manners. We don't need to comment on this any further. When the knives arrive, the principles can contact me to re-open the thread.

Just wanted the record to show that the tracking number of the package I sent is finally working and his knife should be there today.

All this for nothing, well, except for once again showing the character of NJ67. I would wager to guess the only people who deal with him now will be people unaware of his GB&U threads.

Ive based all my comments to him in my emails based on facts that are plain as day. I did tell him i would handle this my. That is not a threat but a promise as the last person on this forum to do this felt the repercussions whether he wants to admit it or not.
I have no desire to argue on a forum with people who aren't involved. Just posting what i have
Oy. You should really ratchet things down before you turn off even more members than you already have.
Too late for that. While trying to point one of his fingers at another, nj67 pointed three of his fingers back at himself.

I wouldn't even give nj67 a knife in a GAW because he'd probably try to claim I'm a scammer when the knife didn't arrive at his location the morning after I announced who won the GAW.

And who was he talking about anyway? Josh at REK? I trust Josh with some very expensive gear and he has NEVER failed me, I certainly wouldn't stop using him because of the idiot thread this guy started about him. Everyone gets who the real loser is out of all of this.. And if they don't nj just has to open his mouth again and they will.

Another day, another classless baby that goes on the Ignore list.....

I just received a knife yesterday that was shipped this past Tuesday and the tracking NEVER updated once from the very first scan saying that it was at the PO where the seller lives.

Actually it still says that right now.

Not everything works all the time, and this has happened to me more than a few times....

Patience.

If I were running BFC I would ban Nj67. This is a community. When an obnoxious, troublemaking person barges in, you grab him by the shoulders and toss him on to the curb. He (and others like him) don't have a "right" to be here. We're all here at the invitation and forbearance of the owner. Were I he, I'd dump this fool in a skinny minute.

+1 and the threatening people- whether a bluff or not. He was already on my ignore list.

^ Same here, Michael. I've had a couple of packages get stuck at a USPS hub & spin around (once for 11 days one), until once again, Monofletch, was able to make a couple of calls on our behalf, & low & behold the package showed up a couple of days later. Hundred's of times using USPS- 100% success rate.

The key word here is, "PATIENCE." I think most of us here have experienced some form of anxiety (one time or another), waiting around for a knife to show up. With that said, these are only knives, & in the scope of life, these type of problems are pretty minor compared to the much more important things in life: family, health & loved ones. Civility, goes a long way in working out small problems like this one posted by the OP. Once a person acts irrationally, it's so easy for a situation like this one to escalate...in this case, needlessly.

Hopefully, both of these member's will receive their knives, are happy, & something positive can be learned here: how NOT act if a similar situation arises.

I'm fairly new here, and nj67 is on my ignore list. I sure hope this is not the norm around here for it's very discouraging.

This is far from the norm here. Hundreds of transactions happen everyday here without a hitch. I have done 82 documented transactions and quite a bit more. Likely over 100. Not a single problem worth writing a thread about. Some simple things to keep in mind....Use paypal goods, always. Research the person you deal with. Takes a couple seconds to type their screen name in the search window for the GB&U. Package well. Insure. Trades are a greater risk. The vast majority of issues can be avoided doing and knowing these things. For other was to have a pleasant experience here see this sticky: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1177581-Consolidated-Sticky-List
