Big Schloss Trip (Pic HEAVY!)

Sweet! But the real question is...did you get there in a Jeep!?
I wish!

Would have been a tight squeeze in some places, even if it was legal to do so! :D

Couldn't help posting pics of my other obsession... :o :p

Awesome pics ..... very cool looking place.

The Mofo's are very nice ..... great score on that one.

Looks like a nice setup on that Jeep.

Beautiful knives, beautiful scenery... lovely pics too!!

Thanks for sharing...

memo to self: must......... get.............. out.................. more!

awesome pics... i need an uncle mofo now...
My third Busse was a Limited Edition UMF (#35). It was the one that set me on the trail of satin and black paper and is the first of my early knives that remains in my hands. You can't go wrong with an Uncle. It has the properties of both a chopper and a fighter.

I'd like to hear more about the Uncle Mofo's ability to chop. Been considering one for that very purpose. What woud you compare it to?

Great knives and pics:thumbup: Thanks for sharing them here.

Looks like you had a great time. That's one badass Jeep!

Man, those pictures are awesome! Thanks for sharing! The knives, the SIG, the environment, the BALVENIE, you name it... One is more pleasing to the eye than the other:thumbup: ! As for the Jeep, this is really impressive! Way to go:thumbup:  !

Ah, Balv. 21 portwood -- what is that interesting astringent, almost anaesthetic finish? i'd know it a mile away (you can easily pick it out of Johnny Walker gold... but then, why would you want to? Knice Knives , too BTW, and that had to be one of the most beautiful locations in the universe.... just lovely...

You scored on that Uncle Mofo, I cant believe no one else grabbed it.

Yeah, it was talking to me for a while. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and got it. After having used it, I think it just may be my favorite Busse now. Felt sooooooooo good in my hands. :D

That isn't illegal or anything, is it? :D

I agree...

I do like the Balvenie 12 y.o. Doublewood. A little easier on the wallet and a great Scotch...

Unfortunately, the HH and the Uncle MoFo are all I have used knife wise to chop. I would probably say that regards to power, the HH had a little more grunt, but the Uncle MoFo was much more comfortable in the hand. Thus allowed me to chop longer.

I am not sure how much the D-Guard played into this. I was able to use it alittle for additional swinging speed. I may make one for the HH and then try again. Make the playing field a little more level, although I am not sure how much, if any difference it would make...
