Big Sky Country Conference Photos

Damn those are some amazing photographs!!! Eric should think about doing it for a job... ;) lol

One of my favorite knives in a good long time, was the Bill Burke stag fighter/bowie. Just a beautiful design with beautiful materials... Totally stopped me in my tracks when I saw it on Eric's photo table.

Wish I could have seen Josh's push-dagger... that's freak'n bad-ass :)

Great pics! Dang! Sure wish we made it out...next year for sure.

+1!!!

Josh's push-dagger really does it for me.

Steven, where do you get your ties? Just curious. I'm partial to Drake's myself.

That particular tie is Turnbull & Asser, purchased at Harrod's, I also purchase at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and The Met Museum Store depending upon pattern choice, and need.

T&A is sweet. I got myself a tie and a couple shirts from their Jermyn St. store in London last year. It's an experience.

looking at these pictures is like being there a second time! after the show and the conference (thanks again, josh and jodie!) we drove to the glacier national park, went hiking, spent a night in a tent in the backcountry on the shores of gunsight lake, and it was beautiful, just like on eric's picture - well, almost, he must have photoshopped the mosquitoes away. then independence day in sandpoint, id, parade and fireworks, really touching, to the west, rain forests in the olympic national park, the ocean, portland, columbia river valley, etc. we had a blast, excellent weather, very friendly people, and the constantly changing landscapes are absolutely amazing!

it's easy not to like the united states when you live in europe, but when you are there it really grows on you. actually overwhelmes you... we'll come back!

best regards,
hans

Thanks Nick.

Hans, if you went from the Olympic peninsula, down to Portland, then you drove right through my town! I wish I would have known, I'd have had you stop by and I could have shown you around some special sites.

Next time! :)
