Hey Folks :)

Here's the latest from my shop.

Blade- 11-1/8 L X 1-13/16 W X 0.245 at guard
Guard- Twisted W's
Spacers- Twisted W's line cut and fluted, sandwiched between two 0.020" ss spacers
Handle- Stabilized Koa from Mark Farley at BurlSource

The blade was forged from 1-3/4" W2 round bar, and differentially hardened with time and temp. I wanted a more subtle hamon in this blade. It has been polished to make it pop and give it that crisp white, whispy look though. :)

Thanks for looking! :)

Beautiful Knife ......and your pictures are improving too :D

I think it is really cool the way your hamons turn out without using any clay - and alot of work:p

Fantastic!

I love the way the Damascus guard and spacer bring all the elements of this knife together!

good lord man!!!

You really got those white wispy's, Nick, and a bunch of great curves and planes, too.

That's just a beauty. The line cuts and fluting you're doing is an elegant detail as well.

It's the handle that I love. The flat on the back of the handle where it meets the spacers has great lines. The handle looks slim but very comfortable in the hand.
Some day I'll have to buy one of your knives so I can have one of your handles to "copy" :( :o

Thanks for sharing!

At first I was like: What did he DO to that guard?

And then I was like: What DID he do to that guard?

An uncommon 'keyhole' shape. Cool.

Very nice Nick really like what you did with the guard we are going to miss you in texas .

Another beautiful piece Nick! Those lines really give me something to work toward. I don't know how everything you make is just so well balanced and clean, but you should write a book my friend. I'd sure as hell buy one! Congrats on another KO dude!

Fine Bowie in every respect in my opinion, however the damascus guard and spacer really pull it all together.
