Biggest fix blade you carry

I usually carry the custom fixed blade in the bottom of this photo, 8" total length. I've recently gotten a used BRKT Bravo 1 that I will try carrying occasionally. The Ratmandu is the maximum size I could legally carry so of course I want one of those and may order one if my resistance breaks down, or maybe the Bravo 1.25 instead.

Sykco 1311. Best big blade I've used... Beefy enough to be an amazing chopper, thin enough for brush clearing, light enough to be easy to carry, and comfortable enough to use for hours.

I regularly carry a bush machete between 14 and 20 inches but those are being pushed aside by a Kershaw Camp 14 or 18 for limbing felled trees. For tramping through the jungle, I prefer a 1311 in a belt sheath.

Biggest knife I carry is a 8.5" inch sami knife.
Slightly heavier than the "famous" Strømeng blades.

Right now it's the Condor Hudson Bay. I like it as good compromise between chopper and versatile camp knife.

I rarely need to carry a blade more than 4.5 inches. I like to have a knife in my pocket or on my belt when hiking and I don't like something too heavy. My environment does not require more than my bk 16 or gso 4.1. If camping I will take a hatchet.

Most of the time I spend woods bumming, I'm carrying a blade 4 to 6 inches in length. However when I want to carry a big blade, I carry a very big blade. A friend of mine made this for me years ago. It's an exact copy of a knife carried during the Civil War by a soldier from North Carolina. The BK 9 is for comparison.

Carbon for me, but if I need something bigger I go straight for one of my axes.

Hacked, I like your style man. For me it's either a 12" modded Ontario machete, or my Condor Golok. That's around the property. Out and about, if I don't know what I'll be in for, it's an ESEE 6. Best all-around big knife out there, IMO.
