Whether it's practical or not, Bill Ruple filework is worth having in a collection, or even for light use. Great looking knife Vince, and a good pattern.
Sometimes, less is more. All of Bill's filework is outstanding to say the least. His earlier pieces were boldly filed and eye catchin' as hell. His newer style with the "Less is More" design like Vince's is every bit as stunning as the original filework he used. Just in finer detail.

i have never seen a copperhead pattern before this, and i must say that this is a truly great looking pattern, nearly perfect for my tastes. also, all of these examples are really beautiful and i love that minimalist filework in the last example.
I've always liked the idea of filework being confined to the liners, so there's no chance of compromising the spring's longevity! Not as dramatic, but simple, functional elegance has it's appeal!
