Hmmm...I thought long and hard about what my favourite 6 slip joints are, right now, today, at this moment. Here's my favourite 6 right now, subject to change without notice at my whims.
Very neat giveaway! While I only own a handful of what might be considered valuable I do have quite a few "oldies" that I've been collecting since I was about 6. Most from Elderly relatives, friends and such and a few from old hardware stores, flea markets, etc.. I have many, many more but don't want to be a nuisance!
And some more - just to show that I have more than just congress patterns (though I admit - I have a *lot* of congress knives):
Left, top to bottom: top two, Joseph Rodgers, Her Majesty; bottom: J. Crookes;
Right, top to bottom: Joseph Rodgers, Her Majesty; Joseph Rodgers, His Majesty (5 blade); Joseph Rodgers, Her Majesty (this is the original pattern that Remington copied for their Norfolk whittlers - thus the name, and the unique main blade shape - you can even see that Remington copied the bolster threading if you look closely (though mostly worn away on this example)).
