Biltons are in. Who is waiting and who wants one?

The Biltons came yesterday. They sent 25 pieces, some horn some wood. I'm not sure if they were made by BirGorkha or not. They are not marked so I have to assume they came from some other shop but they are top notch. If we didn't make them ourselves I'm pretty sure we doctored them up. They have the HI magic stone finish which you don't see on other khukuris made in Nepal and I'm almost certain the village sarki made the scabbards.

So if you've been waiting email me and we'll get the Bilton to you. The only guy I can think of off the top of my head who is waiting is Prag. He's got 3 horn handled versions headed his way today.

Uncle, I'm prepaid for two, but if they're in short supply I'll settle for one so as not to be greedy.

could you please remember me the cost? If remember well, should be $30. In this case, would reserve one.

Just FYI gmonno:

Following this simple procedure will save us both time and effort and a lot of senseless emailing back and forth trying to tie the order down and loose ends up.

Call or Email with the following:

1 - Full Name
2 - Payment method
3 - Shipping Address
4 - Knife wanted

The first one to get all 4 right, gets it!

Uncle Bill:

Please don't forget me again.

I ordered and paid for a horn handled one on the first go 'round.

I'm sending e-mail to confirm my name is near the top of the list.

Hi Uncle Bill, sent an e-mail today (12 feb, 11:50),
hope complete of all the info needed.

Thanks

Email from Nepal. Shanker made these right at BirGorkha. They had the look but the bolster puzzled me.

Shanker does good work. I pulled out my Shanker made JKM-1 to open a shipping carton in our supply section this morning, and there were oohs and aahs in abundance. Still my favorite work knife, "takes a beatin' and keeps on eatin'" (sorry Timex, ain't nobody licking my knife).;)

Shanker made a really beautiful and completely functional Convex Edge Radius on my Bilton.:D :D :D :D

I wonder if he does on the regular line of khuks he makes?

Mine took a razor edge with very little effort. I laced it up inside my Danner today for a trial run. The lack of kydex in the sheath and rubber in the handle makes this a VERY comfortable boot knife. Here's a pic of a Bilton alongside my EDC.
