BingaLor

Big thank you to Lorien. For trusting me to bring his design to life. I learned as much here as any one. As mentioned the friendship we have developed during this project is priceless.

To all the commenters thank you as well. I could not grow as a maker without your input. That means a lot to me.

Thanks to Blade forums of course as Lorien mentioned already :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Look for the Pro photo in a few weeks from young Mr Caleb.

Sorry I have not commented before now. The Bingenheimer's were blessed this week, to great a new grandson into this world.

God bless

Congrats on a wonderful conclusion to this WIP and BIG congrats to the new Grandparents....God Bless the newest member to the Bingenheimer Clan. :)

This folder is beautiful Bruce. Thanks for the look into your process I really enjoyed it.

Congrats on the new addition to the family.

thanks all!
just started drawing up a smaller flipper, using some of the knowledge gained through this process. I'm always excited when I start a new pattern, but this time even moreso than usual :)

I'm really looking forward to Caleb Royer's photo of this sweet blade!

Lorien or Bing,
Im curious, Is this one or the next smaller version made to add a pocket clip?

Mark, Lorien and I discussed this early in the project. We decided that this one would be better with a nice belt type sheath. I have contacted Claude Scott. He will be doing the sheath after the knife comes back from Caleb.

The smaller version we have planned will be with a belt clip.

Thanks
Bing

I know it's late to be chiming in, but just found this thread. WOW!!!! I'm impressed with BOTH the design and building of that wonderful folder - AND the great presentation of the build. A WIP to bookmark for the ages. I do have it bookmarked and will be studying it more.

THANK YOU!!!!

Wow! What an incredible collaboration--that design and the build were a grand slam! I have a few questions:

1. You had mentioned 'pro' pics and a sheath... Can you post those?

2. Who was the knife for? Is it for sale?

Thank you for taking the time to create this thread, it was a great read. This was really fascinating for a newbie enthusiast.

Just found this thread, like someone said, and I, too, just took a nice, leisurely read through the whole thread.

I appreciate the descriptions and comments, thoroughly enjoyed the photos, learned so much in the process and loved seeing the sense of friendship grow over the course of the thread.

Thanks, Lorien & Bing, for opening this process up to us all.

And, wow, what a truly sensational collaboration.
