Since I have not posted in awhile, I have some smaller blades I would like to share. I like the smaller blades for small jobs, I am not a hunter or fisherman, but like them for a good companion knife to have with you.

They are: a JK Hurley Creek, JK Extended Worker, one by Redsquid here on the forum, an O'Neall small hunter, and finally a Grohmann #2 with flat grind and carbon steel.

Maybe
Thanks. Starting the finish grinding, post heat treat on 27 today.
Maybe you should give the other two ( 27 - 2 = 25 ) to some of us admirers, just to use for awhile and pass them a long. :p Maybe to break them in like you do to a wild stallion.

Dave, very nice, one of these days, one of these days........

Waiting to buy one of Dave's knives is almost certainly injurious to your health.
With all the chaffing, itching, the sleepless nights, the increased stomach acid, the headaches, the heartaches...

You are far better off just buying one of his little beauties here and now before you contract something that science or a simple purchase can't cure! Better safe and well than sick with a few extra dollars in your hands.

Besides, you'd probably just waste those dollars on something extravagant anyway, like food.

Who needs food anyway? Once I get the knife, I can go hunting to feed myself......I think I can open a box of honeynut cheerios with it!! I would be in the dog house with my wife and subject to can goods and prepackaged foods like mac n cheese. Dave's knives are a great deal and quality craftsmanship!! :D

Thanks guys!! Its great to be considered on par with a major food group like mac and cheese! Seriously, had some of the best mac and cheese ever, over the weekend at our local rodeo. Wow was it good!! More grinding to do today! Gotta go put my tent up. Playing with a new steel too on a couple little B and Ts.

Can we get some more pics of you knives makeing a meal? Any new pics. Fo camp kitchen duty or taking a break to eat? Spam on crackers with cheese and pepperoni, etc are also a good snack. Have a great weekend. It is getting a little cooler today in Virginia.

Your little Behrings are very nice, indeed. How about the sheaths?
Sheaths are basic dark brown pouch sheaths. Functional but nothing special.
I know Behring will do custom leather, but I haven’t seen their ‘upgraded’ sheaths in person.
