This truly bummed me out . You will notice a small crack in the front of the handle on the makers mark side . I am confident this will not travel as the wood is well sealed and it seems to be a surface crack . Of course if it does , I will replace the handle and pay all ship fees . I thought I would put it up at a reduced price before I destroy this handle . BUMMER . But I believe " Honesty is the best policy " specs are :

Steel - 5/32 , A-2 heat treated to an Rc. 59 and cyro'ed
O.A.L - 9-1/4"
Blade - 4-1/8 tip to handle
Edge - 3-7/8
Finish- flat ground , satin finished
Handle- Bloodwood , with 2, 5/32 mosaic pins and 1, 3/16th s.s pin
Sheath is 7 oz. veg tanned leather
